Through the AIEC Program, SCAIR provides academic tutorial and counseling services to American Indian/Alaska Native students (K–12) and their parents. The program is available in San Diego County and Ventura County.
Services are provided on-site at the SCAIR Resource Centers, as well as at the Ballard Parent Center in Old Town San Diego and at individual schools through SCAIR's partnerships with local Title VI Indian Education Programs and school districts.
Cultural Education
Cultural education and activities are provided through SCAIR and in collaboration with SDUSD's Title VI Indian Education Program.
Counseling Services
Clinical mental health counseling for adults, youth, couples, and families is available to AIEC participants through the SCAIR Counseling Center. Learn more about our Counseling Services, or reach the Counseling Center at (619) 328-0676, ext. 215.
Community Services
SCAIR is a community-based organization, and our goal is to serve eligible Native American, Alaska Native, and Hawaiian Native participants and families through at least one of our existing programs.
The SCAIR Resource Center is also available and accessible for community members who may not meet the eligibility requirements for SCAIR's programs. Community members will be asked to register their information with SCAIR upon their first visit.
