AMERICAN INDIAN EDUCATION CENTER PROGRAM

SCAIR in a designated American Indian Education Center (AIEC), authorized under the California Department of Education, Office of American Indian Education Centers. The California Department of Education is currently funding SCAIR through a five-year funding cycle.

AIEC

Through the AIEC Program, SCAIR provides academic tutorial and counseling services to Native American/ Alaska Native/ Hawaiian Native students (K-12) and their parents. Services are provided on-site at the SCAIR Resource Center in El Cajon, as well as at the Ballard Parent Center in Old Town and individual schools  within the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD), through SCAIR’s partnership with the SDUSD’s Title VI Indian Education Program.
