Springtime GONA

SPRINGTIME GONA

Every Spring, SCAIR hosts a Gathering of Native Americans (GONA) for SCAIR Participants and their families.

Spring GONA

The purpose of the GONA is to bring together parents, children and elders for educational training and activities, to learn traditional Native values and practices, and to network with other tribal members. It is annually held at the Santee Lakes Recreational Preserve and has included guest speakers, trainings, indian education, cultural ceremony and Parent and Child Together (PACT) Activities.
